Priya Thapar is a dual qualified lawyer with over 15 years' experience advising on data protection, privacy, corporate and IP law. She works with UK and international organisations on complex regulatory, contentious and advisory matters, with a particular focus on data intensive and highly regulated sectors.

Priya advises clients across technology, healthcare, life sciences, education, hospitality, manufacturing and media. Her work includes conducting privacy audits, reviewing and advising on consent mechanisms, designing global privacy and governance frameworks, and supporting organisations operating under public sector and regulatory regimes.

She has significant experience advising healthcare and life sciences clients, including on the DSP Toolkit, high risk processing of health data, and Section 251 approvals by the CAG. She also advises on public sector compliance frameworks, including the CAF framework and G Cloud 13 framework agreements.

Priya has advised on complex, large scale and high risk data processing operations, including conducting a comprehensive consent framework audit for a global data intelligence company working with mobile app publishers and processing personal data relating to over three billion app users worldwide. Her work involved assessing lawful bases, transparency, consent validity, and accountability across multiple jurisdictions. She also has experience of drafting and advising on BCRs for a global conglomerate comprising 296 entities, which included advising on international data transfer risk, governance structures, and compliance with UK GDPR and EU GDPR requirements for restricted transfers.

She brings strong experience in data protection matters, including regulatory investigations, breach response and advisory support in disputes and litigation contexts, working closely with internal legal teams and external counsel to manage risk and strategy.

Diana is a UK qualified solicitor with over ten years of experience and a particular interest in immigration law. Throughout her career, she has advised a wide range of businesses and individuals on complex UK immigration matters, delivering clear, practical, and strategic solutions tailored to each client's needs.

Before joining the practice, she worked at a Legal 500 ranked firm as Head of the Immigration Department and Senior Solicitor. In that role, she led a growing team, oversaw high value and high risk matters, and built long standing relationships with corporate and private clients across multiple sectors.

She is particularly passionate about helping businesses navigate the UK's evolving immigration system, from sponsor licence applications and compliance to securing visas for key personnel. Simultaneously, she takes great pride in supporting individuals and families with work visas, settlement, and British citizenship, guiding them through significant life transitions.
