Priya Thapar is a dual qualified lawyer with over 15 years' experience advising UK and international organisations on data protection, privacy, corporate and IP law. Her practice focuses on complex regulatory, contentious and advisory matters, particularly in data intensive and highly regulated sectors.

She advises clients across technology, healthcare and life sciences, education, hospitality, manufacturing and media, supporting them with privacy audits, global privacy programmes and data governance frameworks.

Priya regularly advises on AI governance and the responsible use of AI systems, particularly where AI is used to process personal or sensitive data. Her work includes advising on DPIAs and AI risk assessments, cross border data transfers, aligning AI use with UK GDPR, equality and sector specific obligations, and designing proportionate governance frameworks that support innovation while managing regulatory risk. This includes AI enabled HR and workforce tools, facial recognition and biometric technologies, and AI applications in healthcare, education and technology businesses.

She has advised on complex, large scale and high risk data processing operations, including leading a global consent framework audit for a data intelligence company processing personal data relating to over three billion app users worldwide. Her experience also includes drafting and advising on Binding Corporate Rules for a multinational group of 296 entities, covering international data transfer risk, governance structures and compliance with UK GDPR and EU GDPR requirements.

Priya also has significant experience supporting organisations through regulatory investigations, data breaches and disputes, working closely with in house legal teams and external counsel to manage risk, regulatory engagement and strategy.

Diana is a UK qualified solicitor with over ten years of experience and a particular interest in immigration law. Throughout her career, she has advised a wide range of businesses and individuals on complex UK immigration matters, delivering clear, practical, and strategic solutions tailored to each client's needs.

Before joining the practice, she worked at a Legal 500 ranked firm as Head of the Immigration Department and Senior Solicitor. In that role, she led a growing team, oversaw high value and high risk matters, and built long standing relationships with corporate and private clients across multiple sectors.

She is particularly passionate about helping businesses navigate the UK's evolving immigration system, from sponsor licence applications and compliance to securing visas for key personnel. Simultaneously, she takes great pride in supporting individuals and families with work visas, settlement, and British citizenship, guiding them through significant life transitions.
